Patrick Bauer

Professionally

Patrick Bauer is Managing Partner and founder of pala. With over ten years of professional experience in M&A consulting, he has successfully supported more than 40 transactions with a total volume of over €2 billion. He assists entrepreneurs, medium-sized companies, and financial investors in implementing strategic company acquisitions and sales.

His clients range from owner-managed companies to technology-driven start-ups and private equity investors. With a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to consulting, Patrick supports his clients throughout the entire transaction process—from strategy development and investor outreach to negotiation and implementation.

Before founding pala, Patrick was Vice President at FERBER & CO., a boutique firm specializing in M&A for medium-sized companies. There, he advised numerous companies on sell-side and buy-side processes with a particular focus on succession and strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he spent several years in the corporate finance department of the investment bank equinet in Frankfurt, where he supported companies in capital market and M&A transactions.


Private

In addition to his work as a consultant, Patrick is co-founder of Play Bay GmbH, the leading provider of gaming infrastructure in Germany. He actively brings this entrepreneurial perspective to his consulting work, particularly when working with start-ups and growth companies.

Patrick Bauer holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Hohenheim and a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting from the University of Bamberg.
